We were asked to create an open plan kitchen with a centre piece island for this stunning new build project.
Working closely with the client we decided to use veneered oak, lightly brushed and stained. The colour was chosen from a popular paint manufacturer from which we created a stain to allow the grain to show through. For the drawers we used a combination of Blum Terra Black drawer boxes and custom-made birch plywood cutlery boxes.
For the worktop, the client settled on African Storm. It is both a practical surface and a work of art that turns every head that enters the room.

We lightly brushed and stained the oak which combines perfectly with the African Storm worktop.
Helen and Chris from Berchen have delivered and installed a beautiful kitchen in our newly built chalet.
