Getting a new kitchen should be fun. That’s right – fun! And we’re here to make that happen, from the first tentative sketches to the navigation of that awkward corner in your hallway on installation day. Here’s how.
How we work
Getting a new kitchen should be fun. That’s right – fun! And we’re here to make that happen, from the first tentative sketches to the navigation of that awkward corner in your hallway on installation day. Here’s how.
We have a working show kitchen which we’d love to show you and your family around. Take a seat at the kitchen island and talk to us about your plans. We’ll put the coffee on.
We can visit you at home* to help you come up with the perfect look, layout and functionality for your lifestyle.
When it comes to planning, crafting and installation. We’ll ensure the measurements are exact, the machining is perfect and fitting day runs like clockwork.
We’ll keep in touch with you throughout the whole process, and if anything doesn’t go to plan you’ll be the first to know. We always keep our promises, no matter what challenges come our way.
We’re British born, by the way, so we’re always delighted to be offered a strong cup of tea. We also enjoy marmite on our toast, but will settle for confiture.
Our Process
Firstly, you need to get an idea of what your Berchen kitchen might cost. Send us a basic plan of your kitchen and a few pictures and we will be able to give you a ball park estimate within a few days. If we are in range of your budget we can get started. Please note, when we start the design phase we will ask you to commit to paying a small deposit of €600 HT. This amount is only invoiced if you decide not to order a kitchen (or other furniture) from us. How does that sound?
Talk to us. We want to hear about how you live – whether your space is a quiet sanctuary for mindful mealtimes or a place to kick your shoes off and party. We can also discuss any ideas you have in mind, and your budget.
Having taken the time to understand your space and lifestyle, we’ll bring your ideas to life as a 3D sketch. We take meticulous care over the fine details of the design before the construction of your kitchen or furniture begins.
It’s time to roll our sleeves up. Your bespoke kitchen or furniture will be custom cut using CNC machinery, before being hand assembled and finished with your chosen material. Whilst this is happening your builders are preparing the space so that power, plumbing and painting are all finished before installation begins.
We take just as much care over the fitting of your kitchen as we do the construction. We aim for minimal disruption, tidy work and smiles all round. If you’d prefer to appoint your own carpenter, we can work with them to arrange a seamless delivery.
